Master Mix Live senior instructor Rick Camp mixes Anita Baker on tour at the Hollywood Bowl

FOH-Live Audio Engineer/Instructor postcard. On-tour with, Anita Baker, who always Gives You the Best She’s Got, and, with the contemporary jazz artist, Esperanza Spalding. Esperanza, on the heels of her still-striking Grammy win for best new artist in 2011. Anita Baker and Esperanza rocked the house of 17,000 ticket buyers at the Hollywood Bowl, August 22, 2012. Baker played her biggest hit “Sweet Love” as her second tune of the set. The crowd went wild, as they would throughout the night.

Senior Master Mix Live Instructors, engineer for today’s biggest artists and, teach, train and instruct audio students to be proficient, Live Audio Engineers + Mixers in an 8-student classroom (((LIVE))) sound stage environment. They provide a comprehensive 248-hour rigorous live audio training course with semi-private, hands-on console instruction time in-class.

Our instructors assess and assign students to various Las Vegas showrooms, and/or, sound companies for additional Student Intern Lab instruction and professional training, and also arrange for each student to actively participate as a live audio engineer aide at sound checks, venue set-ups, or rehearsals accompanied by an instructor so the students learned skills are utilized throughout the 20-week course.
